This all inclusive fiber art weekend at Dragonfly Retreat in Bangor, Wisconsin, begins on Friday, March 27, with a tour of Ewetopia Fiber Mill in La Farge, Wisconsin. On Friday evening, we will have a private class on arranging fresh flower bouquets with Jessica Munson from Crimson Clover Floral in Bangor. We will learn tips for creating a beautiful presentation of our fresh flowers and how to help them last as long as possible.

The following 2 days will be spent creating wool felt pictures inspired by our bouquets. On Saturday, we will use wool roving, yarn, and other fibers to design our pictures and wet felt our creations. After drying them overnight, we will use dry wool needle felting techniques on Sunday to define and enhance our projects.

Meals and snacks will be provided throughout the weekend. There will also be time for getting to know new friends, walking or biking on the La Crosse River State trail which can be accessed a few blocks from Dragonfly Retreat, visiting local shops, or curling up in a quiet nook with a good book. Shared or solo lodging is provided on site. The maximum class size is 12 people.
